Did Jose Altuve have wires under his jersey during Game 6 of the ALCS? / via Twitter

Did Jose Altuve have wires under his jersey concealing some sort of cheating device during Game 6 of the 2019 ALCS? The MLB Internet investigators are concentrating on this video today where Altuve motions to his teammates not to tear off his jersey on his way home after hitting the game-winning home run off Aroldis Chapman. The thing is, the conspiracy theorists have been pretty spot-on during this whole Astros cheating scandal. It’s not far fetched to believe the theory that Altuve was wearing a buzzer.

Let’s go to the video and hear Ken Rosenthal ask Altuve about motioning to his jersey.

There’s also video floating around of Altuve getting off the field as fast as possible while his teammates celebrate. We now know at the bottom of those steps is where the Astros had been running their trash can banging system.

On top of the adrenaline pumping and telling ur teammates not to rip your jersey off, your the first one to go into the clubhouse while everyone else celebrates on the field and puts the shirt on over the jersey? Jose Altuve clearly has wires under his jersey. pic.twitter.com/Gb1JNJqc3A

Dusty Baker had a funny quote about his Astros after Houston's 7-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the ALCS at Petco Park in San Diego, Calif. on Friday night.

The Astros won their third straight game in the series to send things to a seventh game. They are trying to join the 2004 Boston Red Sox as the only other MLB team to come back from a 3-0 deficit in a series.

After the Astros won Game 6 to send things to a Game 7, their spirit was praised, leading to Baker’s funny quote.

“You gotta love this team, well some people hate this team, but you gotta respect this team,” Baker said.

So what’s the issue? So many fans and players throughout baseball hate the Astros for cheating. Fans want to see them lose. But at the same time, it’s hard not to respect a team for not quitting despite being down 3-0 and making such a strong comeback.

Framber Valdez allowed just one run and struck out nine over six innings to get the win. The Astros pounded out 11 hits and walked nine times as part of their seven-run effort. Game 7 will be on Saturday with the winner going to the World Series.
